Sweet Day to Be a Bulldog

Goodmorning all you crazy peeps!

I hope your weekend has started out splendid :)

Mine most certainly has been great. It's Homecoming here in the Bulldog country and all the festivities have been fun so far. It's definitely a beautiful sunny day outside!

Last night we had the annual Barn Party dance at the BSU. It is the crazy square dancing deal that we have every year. Country isn't really my thing but its fun to take pictures of everyone having fun, and thats exactly what I did.

The Fall Choir Concert was last night as well, and although I wasn't able to attend, I'm sure it sounded absolutely lovely.

This morning I got on to check my email and I had an email from Kenda North, and that just made my day. You don't know who that is? Well she is this photographer who has absolutely beautiful work. I adore her art. Last week we had to find an artist to "interview" and I chose her. She was very kind to answer my questions. Although I wasn't able to get her answers in time for the project, it was still great to read what she said. She is known for her underwater photography "Urban Pools" and she has just released her new work "Notions of Beauty and Loss". I think that her Notions series is so inspiring. I love her reasoning, the purpose she had for it. Its rather touching. You should check out her stuff. :)

Anyways Yesterday in class we learned about Copyright and so I want to clarify that Almost everything on my blog is Mine (pictures that is). I have tried to make sure that I gave credit to the ones that are not mine and I realize there are a few that I did not clarify. In my blog "crisp air announces autumn" both of those pictures are not mine. The candied apples are from a google image and the fall picture is from an irish website. Both of which I have been unable to find the web addresses. Also in one of my very first posts I posted some pictures that were not mine, also from google images. After hearing all that copyright stuff, I felt I should clarify. Ha From now on.... I'll be making sure to clarify where things came from. I mean you learn something new everyday!

Well now that all that was said, I really need to go get ready! I hope that ya'll have a marvelous day!
I'll be watching my Bulldogs tonight!

Hail State!!! Go Dawgs!!!

XOXO

Engagement

Good Morning!

So there is a first time for everything and it was definitely an experience. Thankfully it was with some of my friends :) I traveled to Decatur, Al and took Hutto and Justin's pictures. It was a lot of fun and I'm super thankful I got to be apart of their engagement! These are just a couple!

Have a Blessed day!

Fall Break in Pictures

Good afternoon,

It seems that every time I get away here lately, I'm at the beach. I'm not complaining, I find the sounds very relaxing. We spent a whole day there and I felt like a little nerd with two of my cameras just snapping away. Oh wells, when I'm not assigned a project its such a lovely feeling to just capture when no one is asking or demanding. It was a lovely weekend and I definitely forgot it was October.

Hope you enjoy :)

Cold Weather Please

Hello,

Its been awhile. This past weekend was the first weekend that I haven't had anything pressing to do. I went to my grandmother's house to visit with family. It was a great visit and then Andrew and I rushed back to watch the end of the MSU vs. Florida game. It was a good weekend to be a Bulldog :)

However, I'm feeling a little blue this week. Cold weather needs to arrive soon! It's October and I was wearing shorts yesterday. I'm really not ok with that, Fall where are you?!

Have a lovely day!
xoxo,
Micah

Crisp Air Announces Autumn

"I prefer winter and fall, when you fell the bone structure of the landscape-- the loneliness of it-- the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it-- the whole story doesn't show."  Andrew Wyeth

"Delicious Autumn my very soul is wedded to it and if i were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns."  George Elliot

I'm thinking a candied apple party sounds like a wonderful idea. Next Friday is going to be the first night that I don't have anything the do. WOW thats amazing! I think it'll be perfect for a fall treat and time with friends. This weekend is Fall Break and it is definitely needed. I'm headed to the beach with Andrew and his family. I'm sorta not sure how I feel about the beach on Fall break but I'm sure it'll be plenty relaxing and fun. I'll be taking my camera so don't worry.
Have a great day!
