Bowdler Family Take 2 : Sneak Peak

So six months ago I took their family portraits and Jacob was just 6 months. I was very glad when Mrs. B contacted me to take more photographs for their family. This time Jacob is now 1 year! He was such a cutie and it was good to catch up with them. I have know them for a while and it's so fun to get to see them as a growing family. This is just a sneak peak.. I'll be back with more soon. I promise :)

It's Friday night...

Hello,

I am just about a week behind on posting this but oh well. This week has been crazy but successful. We found a venue, I flew back to Texas, then helped photograph one of the sweet girls here at camp get engaged. Most of the photos didn't turn out because it was VERY dark. However, it was too sweet to get to watch the excitement unfold as litebrites lit up with the very question of "will you marry me?" on one and then the other said "circle yes or no" She had no idea and was eager to tell the world of her new fiance. Congratulations Ashley and Thomas!

I also just wanted to also post a couple of images from my visit with Andrew last weekend. It was a short visit but worth the time. We went on a little walk on his grandparents land and then just spent time with his family. It was a beautiful Easter day!

Motorcycles and such

Good Afternoon!

Today has been a beautiful day! I can't believe it is already Easter weekend! I'm am so excited to have freedom of worship to praise my God for sending His son to die for ME! Well for those of you who do not know, I am engaged! I am engaged to the love of my life and I am heading out soon to see him and his family. No Easter in Arkansas this year but I get to meet a few new future relatives and I can not express how excited I am! Then on Monday I will be looking at wedding venues. That's pretty nifty!

I recently got rid of my Facebook. What a relief!! However, I just launched a Facebook page for my Meeka by Micah Photography and Design. So if you haven't liked my page...YOU should :) no pressure..

Now to the Motorcycles... Here at Riverbend Retreat Center, we have the Riverbend Road Rally. All these bikers show up and go on a nice group ride together and then come back out to Riverbend for lunch. Yesterday, the leader of the road rally ministry asked me to ride with their group to get some nice shots for publicity. I'm not gonna lie, I felt pretty awesome. I just thought I would share a couple of images from the ride.

Baby Bishop

Happy Monday to you!

It has been about 2 weeks since I did this photography shoot with the Bishops. My first try and I was a little nervous about it. 1) She was due any day! However Kristyn was awesome! She has already had two little ones who are precious. Even better, she had them while her and her husband were serving as missionaries in PERU! She just climbed all over the rocks and chased after Olivia and Noah. Anyways, little baby bishop hasn't been formally named yet. He arrived early around 2 am this morning with a few name options that haven't been decided on quite yet. I just wanted to share a few images from the photography session. Hope you enjoy!
